Fifteen people took about 2.9g of lion's mane powder daily for sixteen weeks, fifteen took placebo. The supplement group scored higher on a Japanese dementia screen at weeks 8, 12 and 16, though no score was ever published. Four weeks after stopping, the gain had significantly faded.
